What is a TEACH Grant and how do I apply? (2023-2024 school year)

The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant is a federal grant for students in the education field who agree to teach for at least four academic years as highly qualified teachers serving low-income students in high-need fields. You can find eligible majors here. The four-year commitment (also known as the TEACH Grant service obligation) must be completed within eight calendar years of exiting Relay.

  • TEACH Grant sequester fees are 5.70%

 

You must completed all four (4) forms to apply for a TEACH Grant 

 

FORM 1. Complete the Relay GSE TEACH Grant application

 

FORM 2. Complete your 2023-2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

  • You will need to complete a FAFSA each year at Relay for federal aid consideration

FORM 3. Complete your 2023-2024 TEACH Grant Agreement to Serve or Repay (Agreement)

FORM 4. Complete your TEACH Grant Initial and Subsequent Counseling
