Direct unsubsidized loans are federal funds that you can borrow to help pay for the costs of your Relay education. 

• The direct loan interest rate from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 is 7.05%

You must complete all four (4) forms to apply for a federal direct loan 

FORM 1. Complete the Relay GSE loan application

• Please specify the amount of federal aid you would like to receive each term

FORM 2. Complete your 2023-2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

• School Code: 042086
• You will need to complete a FAFSA each year at Relay for federal aid consideration

FORM 3. Complete your 2023-2024 Master Promissory Note

• Please select Graduate/Professional Student
• Please select the Unsubsidized Direct Loan
• Do NOT complete the PLUS loan
